Here are the answers to some of our most popular questions! Don’t see what you’re looking for? Send us a message through our contact page!
Do you travel?
Yes! By the end of next year, we will have shot in 11 different states, and we’re hoping this number continues to grow! This includes destination weddings, elopements, or traditional weddings. Be sure to inquire about our special elopement packages. Travel costs vary, so send us a message through our contact page for an estimate.
Do you film the Ceremony?
Yes! The ceremony in included in both wedding packages. It’s kind of the whole point of getting married, so we think it’s pretty important that you get it. :)
Can we pick the music for our wedding film?
We get this question a lot! We license every song that you hear in our wedding videos, and not every song is available to be licensed! While we always talk to the couple about music taste and style, we ultimately pick the music for the videos.
What is your videography style?
In simple terms, I would say my style is sincere. I want my wedding videos to portray real emotions and actual events. If your flower girl cries or the groom slips on the dance floor, I’m probably going to include it. I want you to remember your actual wedding day- not a staged wedding music video.
I color my videos and use music that I think will fit the couple best, but my preferred style of editing is darker and romantic- some might even call it moody. I love the emotion that rich tones and shadows can add to a video.
When do we get to see our wedding film??
According to our contract, you will receive your film within 4-6 weeks, but usually it’s even sooner! I’m always excited to finish editing, but sometimes life gets in the way and it takes a little longer which is why the contract says 4-6 weeks.
Do you film rehearsal dinners?
Yes! Covering a rehearsal dinner is included in our top package. You will receive a copy of it along with your film and ceremony after your wedding.
Do you do wedding photography?
We do not! We believe in picking one thing and doing it well to the best of our abilities. I dabble in photography for hobby, but most of my time and energy is spent learning everything I can about wedding videography. I totally nerd out about editing techniques, new music, and equipment. Although, I’m more than happy to recommend so great photographers!
Do you offer other videography services?
During my time off from weddings, I do offer other videography services. I’ve done projects for churches, non-profits, start-ups, etc. If you have any questions about this, send an email!
